ATI slanted bottom rail
|
The ATI stock gives you 3 flat surfaces on which to mount rails to attach accessories. But why not make all 4 sides available top, left, right and bottom. The bottom of the forearm is slanted and mounting lasers or lights will make them point up, unless you shim the rail (making it a weaker mount) or spend lots of money for a Beretta style mount. This new ATI slant rail will allow your to mount components to the bottom and keep them close to perpendicular to the barrel. It is only 3 inches long, but thats all you really need to mount a laser, light, bipod, or vertical grip.
